The private house used to use a combined boiler, in which the water was heated with electricity and from a wood boiler. Warm water was often lacking and it heats up slowly. The customer had decided to change the boiler and was interested in using solar collectors for water heating. Taking into account the consumption of hot water in the family, the direction and slope of the roof plane, the engineers of sauleskolektors.lv calculated that the most suitable is a 4-collector system with a 300l boiler, which would ensure a sufficient amount of hot water all year round.
The solar collector system is designed so that it can be expanded and used for heating support or swimming pool heating.
The main benefits of installing a solar collector system are that there is always enough hot water and the family budget is less affected by fluctuations in energy prices.
