NB: You can see very well in the pictures what happens to the collectors during the winter / snow. Both photos were taken on February 22, 2012. One at 11.35 just after a snowy night, the other at 12.29. when the solar collectors themselves have thawed, the snow has fallen and the solar collectors continue to work.
