Solar collector system, which was created in 2016 by order of Liepājas Energija and the aim of which is to provide water heating for several apartment buildings in one of Liepāja's residential districts.
The size of the system has been calculated in order to ensure that the boiler house can be switched off during the summer period, but the inhabitants of the surrounding houses are fully provided with hot water during this period. In its turn, the additional benefit of “Liepājas energija” is that during this period the maintenance of the hamlet house can be easily performed, which would otherwise be related to hot water supply interruptions and, accordingly, predictable dissatisfaction of the population.
