The private house in Ķegums was almost built, and heating had to be created that would not be too expensive and would be environmentally friendly.
As the wood boiler had already been purchased and the underfloor heating had already been built, it was not difficult to add a solar collector system to the heating support. The area of the house is about 220m2. Sauleskolektors.lv created a 10 solar collector system with a hot water boiler and a heat accumulator. The roof was not yet finished and the collectors could be incorporated into the roof, which gives the house a particularly aesthetic design.
The main benefits are that there is always enough hot water and the house does not need to be heated on sunny cold days - it is heated using solar energy. The result is wood savings, environmentally friendly heating, comfort and an elegant design.
