Solar panels for a new building in Salaspils region were installed with the aim to save electricity in the summer months by providing electric water boiler heating, which is also used for heating the bathroom floor. Six solar panels provide up to two kilowatts of electricity on sunny summer days, which in this project is not connected to public networks at all.

There are several buildings in the Tērvete social care center, between which there is a canteen with a large roof area, which was never used before. Therefore, the management of the institution, attracting state funding, decided in 2011 to install a solar battery system by implementing an appropriate project.
Object type: Private house
Location: Salaspils
Solar collector application: Heating and water heating
Number of solar collectors: 8 pcs.
Solar collector area: 16.2 m2
Solar unit power: 11.5 kW
Heat pump power: 13kW
The system has been operating since 2017
A solar panel microgenerator for a private house in Bergi was installed to reduce daily electricity bills.
This project was especially interesting because the roof structure was designed in an architecturally unusual style. Therefore, several roof planes had to be used to accommodate the number of panels needed to reach the planned capacities.
